We believe that a child needs to hear God’s Word at their level of comprehension. We teach children’s basic Bible stories, however our teachers use curriculum and lesson plans, designed or approved by Minister Beth Puls-Clements meant to challenge them to ask questions. With the aid of Scriptures, visual teaching with hands-on projects and crafts, and historical background including Jewish culture and Gentile culture during the Old Testament and New Testament periods, we introduce Bible truths.
We describe the foundational beliefs of Christianity early on so the children are aware of what a Christian believes. We explain with Scripture the birth of Christ, the crucifixion, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, how Christ existed before the book of Matthew, the trinity, the workings of the Holy Spirit, heaven and hell, and the Holiness of God the Father.
We relate the Biblical principals and values to our daily lives and how we must as taught in the Word of God live our lives accordingly. The crafts always relate to the weekly teaching and we encourage the children to use the crafts they created to explain to their family and friends the lesson for the week.
Parents are always welcome to drop in during class to hear and observe the teaching styles and the class lessons. Minister Beth is available to discuss any concerns or questions you may have as well getting parents involved in the Children’s Ministry.
We look forward to meeting you and your children.
