Women’s Ministry

103_1245Currently our Women’s Ministry has been focused on assisting BFG Leadership in developing the Run Away Brides Missions Ministry. We have taught the lesson plans written by Pastor Cyndi in a variety of settings, such as women’s retreats, worker’s retreats, luncheons, and classes. We took the lead in teaching the Run Away Brides (RAB) material to women and teenage girls since the gender composition of members of evangelical Protestant churches is 53%  and the average female population of the Mainline Christian Churches is 54% in the USA. {See footnote below}

2014 holds great opportunities for women desiring to expand their spiritual territory internally and externally. Our planned upcoming new year includes the “Women’s Conference,” held January 24-26 at the Candlestone Golf & Resort on Storey Road, Belding, MI 48809.  You can learn more about that under “Run Away Brides Women’s Conference on the Home Page.

Additionally, we plan to start up “Rejoice Freedom” as a Small Group in Minister Terry’s home located in the Wyoming, Michigan area in the Spring of 2014. Waiting for the snow to leave us makes it easier for this 35 week program to run without weather complications. We will post the dates and location(s) in early 2014.
